This photo shows the bay window in the living room. We're pretty sure this used to be french doors to the side porch/terrace as the floors are different, beams are different and panelling does not match the rest of the room. Hopefully we can open this back up to be doors again.
The twin fireplaces are both wood burning. They both have a hole in them to push the ashes to buckets in the basement. We will put a blower/insert in the back one to help heat the room while keeping the other as-is for special occasions.
